This month, A2D would like to introduce you to its amazing Dev Squad, the coaches that are here to help you reach your goals.
Our training group, Reroute Performance, is run by Joe Ferrer and Omar Porras. Joe has an impressive resume and is quickly becoming one of the most reliable and asked for trainers among professional athletes. He has developed his classes based on an athletes need to get healthy, feel good, and perform at a higher level than previous years. He considers the athletes sport timetable, medical history and personal goals, so he can develop a unique program for each player. He is also a big believer in monthly testing to track progress. He has worked with some of the top names in baseball, football and most other sports, and looks forward to working with you as well.
Omar Porras has extensive experience working with athletes from all sports but specializes in baseball training. He served as the Angels Single A Strength and Conditioning Coach and wants to work with everyone at A2D to help them reach their goals.
We are proud to have Sports Medicine Institute in our facility as the Physical Therapy and Injury Recovery Center at A2D Sports. Joan Boesel and Ashley Rojan, along with their highly qualified and respected team, are here to help you get back to playing at the highest level. They take a comprehensive and integrated approach to your rehab and training, by looking at the whole person to help you not only recover but prevent future injury. SMI works hand in hand with Reroute Performance to make sure training and rehab are coordinated for the best and safest results.
Lastly, our head of baseball operations is Mike Cosgrove. Mike has years of experience in running one of the area’s largest baseball programs and working with some of top pitchers in Southern California through his 12six academy. His reputation as an innovative and cutting-edge pitching coach are undeniable, and his dedication to the advancement of local youth in the area is among the best. We are lucky to have Mike at A2D and know the programs he institutes will help everyone reach their goals.
